During the 17th International ACM SIGACCESS Conference on Computers and Accessibility (ASSETS) to be held in Lisbone, Portugal, from the 26th to the 28th of October, Sebastián Aced López will present the latest development of the GNomon framework and mini-games, with both a poster and a live demo to the participants.
The poster and the demo are accompanied by a short paper entitled "Can We Make Dynamic, Accessible and Fun One-Switch Video Games?" to be published in the conference proceedings.
Moreover, Sebastián won an ACM SIGACCESS Scholarship in Computers and Accessibility to support his partecipation in ASSETS 2015. Congratulations to Sebastián!

The e-Lite group is partecipating to the 3rd International Conference on Future Internet of Things and Cloud (FiCloud), that is taking place in Rome, Italy, from today, 24th of August, to the 26th of August. The FiCloud conference aims at providing a forum for bringing together researchers and practitioners from academia, industry, and public sector in an effort to present their research work and share research and development ideas in the area of IoT and cloud computing.

Il giorno 01/07/2015 si è tenuto il convegno di formazione, organizzato da ForteChance, dal titolo "La domotica ad uso sociale", in cui sono stati condivisi i punti di vista di diverse aziende tecnologiche ed operatori sanitari sul tema del contributo che la domotica può fornire per il sostegno delle abitazioni e delle residenze di anziani e disabili. In tale convegno, Fulvio Corno ha tenuto l'intervento introduttivo, dal titolo "Gli anelli mancanti per l’Ambient Intelligence, dove sono stati evidenziate alcune importanti carenze metodologiche ed organizzative che stanno rallentando o impedento lo sviluppo di tali soluzioni tecnologiche, soprattutto la mancanza di una progettazione che parta dalle persone.

At the 7th International Conference on Intelligent Technologies for Interactive Intertainement (INTETAIN) in Turin (Italy), Sebastián Aced López presented a talk about GNomon, a framework that enables the creation of dynamic, entertaining and complex one switch video games for children with severe motor disabilities.

Lezione-seminario: Soggetti autistici e tecnologie
Nel contesto del corso di Tecnologie per la Disabilità del Politecnico di Torino, si terrà una lezione-seminario in collaborazione con il il centro C.A.S.A. della ASL CN1.
Il dott. Maurizio Aurduino (del Centro Autismo e Sindrome di Asperger C.A.S.A. della ASL CN1) parlerà delle tecnologice applicate ai casi di persone affette da autismo.
Nella lezione si illustreranno metodologie ed ausili utilizzati con persone autistiche, ed in particolare i risultati del progetto Touch for Autism condotto in collaborazione con Fondazione ASPHI e con CSP Innovazione nelle ICT.
