The annual call for the 34th cycle of the PhD at Politecnico di Torino has just been published. Deadlines for application are February 15, 2018 (spring session) and May 28, 2018 (summer session).
The e-Lite research group has one offered proposal for the spring session, on the topic of Dynamic and Adaptive User Interfaces for the Internet of Things. In this proposal, the candidate will seek novel mechanisms for generating user interfaces for future Internet of Things services, in a scenario where a heterogeneous set of devices might "offer" interaction mechanisms for being controlled, and and intelligent and dynamic system will pull these offers and combine them into a context-, user-, and device-dependent user interface.
