The Politecnico of Torino is awarding up to 28 research scholarships to candidates with a Master's Degree and willing to undertake a research activity at Ph.D. level at the Politecnico of Torino.

The e-Lite research group presented a proposal for one of these scholarships, entitled "Dynamic and Adaptive User Interfaces for the Internet of Things".

The research activity envisioned in the proposal aims at conceiving new interaction paradigms in the IoT domain, where user interfaces can be automatically generated, dynamically customized and deployed, according to real-time discovery of available IoT services, to the availability of interaction devices (own by the users, or seamlessly integrated in the environment), and considering user preferences, habits and, in general, the whole interaction context.

Applications should be submitted by November 16, 2017 by those who meet the following criteria:

  • Less than 30 years old on November 16.
  • Interest in carrying out the selected research proposal on a continuous basis from March 1, 2018 to October 31, 2018 and in continuing their studies at the Politecnico of Torino by applying to the Call for admission of the PhD programmes (starting on November 1, 2018).
