Energy monitoring solutions are becoming increasingly popular, thanks to smart homes and new affordable and easy to use devices.

But the remaining problem is how to help home residents to understand and easily perceive how much energy they are consuming, and how does it relate with their habits and actions.

The design of a in-home-display concept, based on Android, has been carried on with the wattsUP application, during the Master Thesis of Daniele Antoci.
