Subject: Web Applications I - Welcome Dear students of Web Applications I (year 2020), before the start of the classes on March 9th, I'd like to share with you some information about the organization of the course. - all the material of the course (slides, esercises, video lectures, exams, etc) will be available from the web page: http://bit.ly/polito-wa1 - the lectures of the course will be video-recorded and will be available on this YouTube playlist: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLqRTLlwsxDL-e9RexPadqEVaaUgy-Ge8O (they will also be added on the Portale della Didattica, but with a longer delay) - the first lecture (Course Introduction) is already on-line. Other lectures will follow in the next days, you should see them before Thursday - on Thursday (12 march), at 10:00, please connect to the "Virtual Classroom" of the course in the Portale della Didattica. We will have a chat for discussing the topics shown in the first videos, I will take questions, and we will do some exercise - before the first lecture, please also install the development tools mentioned in the Course Introduction slides - the exercises and examples that will be realized during the lectures and the laboratories will be available on GitHub, on the page: https://github.com/polito-WA1-2020 You are required to create a GitHub account (it will be needed for the exam, and you are not a real computer engineer if you don't have one).
